Bamford Train station is within 5 minutes walk (see map below) which offer regular services along the Hope Valley line between Sheffield and Manchester. There is also the bus stop just outside the garden centre.  With regular services along the valley. If you have any travel questions give us a call and we will give you some help.

The Bike Garage is located close to the start of the Thornhill trail. From the Thornhill trail you can access the Ladybower and wider Upper Derwent Valley trail networks.

Thornhill Trail

The Thornhill trail is appropriately 2 miles in length and provides a traffic free cycling route. It makes up the start of the the Derwent Valley Heritage trail and is a gateway to many great trails. It is a family friendly route due to it smooth gradients and well surfaced nature. To get access from the Bike Garage there is a route by first turning left onto water lane, then turning right across the sports fields.

The Peak District is home to a wide variety of trails, suitable for all riding abilities and levels. We are more than willing to offer assistance to anyone who wants help on picking a route suitable route. We also offer this service to anyone who hires a bike from us, to make sure that you get the most out of your hire experience.
